(Southern Co.) Alabama Power – Gaston Station, chooses Fossil Equipment for Unit # 2.

Early in 2006, Gaston Plant purchased a Unit's worth of Fossil Oil Ignitors, Fuel and Air Supply Valve Trains with Fossil Valves and Controls, as well as a Duplex Blower Skid for redundancy in Cooling and Combustion Air. In June of this year, they awarded the second order, though Babcock and Wilcox, to Fossil Power for an identical scope of equipment for Unit #2.
