Following a successful start-up of FPS equipment on Unit No.8, FPS has commenced fabrication for an identical scope of equipment for Unit No.9. The scope of the project includes FPS Oil Horn Ignitors, FPS Warm-Up Oil Guns with direct Plasma Arc Ignition, FPS Valve Trains, FPS Flexible Fiber Optic Flame Scanners and a combustion air Blower System. All equipment is scheduled for a fall 2006 delivery.
