International Paper's Bucksport Mill is now capable of firing natural gas after Fossil completes a boiler conversion.

Fossil has successfully completed a natural gas conversion on the No.8 power boiler for International Paper in Bucksport, Maine. This project included the design, supply, and commissioning of Low-NOx gas burners, ignitors, BMS, combustion control, operator interface, natural gas valve trains, and fiber-optic flame scanners.

This project marks the first installation of Fossil's Low-NOx gas burners.
