Fossil is Awarded Four More Control Systems for Ontario Power Generation – Nanticoke Generating Station.

Fossil has been awarded the contract to design and install Pulverizer Protection Controls on four more boilers for Ontario Power Generation at the Nanticoke Generating Station. Fossil has previously installed four of these systems on U5 to U8, and are now completing the remaining four units (U1 to U4).

Fossil’s scope includes the design, supply, and commissioning of a Foxboro IA control system and operator interface, as well as the design and manufacturing of all control cabinets. This project is scheduled for installation in early 2007.
