June 1, 2001 - Fossil Power Systems Inc. is pleased to announce the successful commissioning and startup of Ontario Power Generation’s Lakeview GS – Units 1 and 2. The controls and burners were upgraded on the two 300MW coal-fired boilers as part of the low-NOx upgrade at the plant.

Fossil completed the design, manufacturing, supply and commissioning of the BMS, flame scanners, oil ignitors and operator interface. The BMS was designed and implemented using the Siemens/Moore APACS platform. The operator interface was developed using Fossil’s Graphical Control System (GCS), a Windows2000-based open architecture DCS software.
