Oil Valves
By integrating the highest quality available
components, FPS is able to offer a series of automated oil valves.
They provide the ultimate in design features for reliable operation
and ease of maintenance. The valves are available in a variety
of sizes and are suited for use in applications such as individual
safety shut-off or header shut-off. Also manufactured is a Cross-Linked
Tandem Ball Valve Assembly which is particularly useful as an
ignitor safety shut off valve. This valve uses a single actuator
and limit switch along with a uniquely engineered bracket and
linkage mechanism to simultaneously control two parallel mounted
ball valves.
Typical valve construction
consists of the following components:
• Worcester Ball Valves
• Parker-Hannifin Solenoids
• Bettis / Worcester Actuators
• Honeywell Limit Switches
• Fossil Power Systems Inc. Stainless Steel Brackets and
Couplers
The valves are available
in sizes from 1/2" to 2" with threaded/socket weld connections
and in sizes from 3" to 4" with ANSI 16.5 flange connections.
All sizes are available in either a "Fail Closed" or
"Fail Open" configuration upon the loss of electrical
or air supplies.
