Gas Ignitors
FPS Gas Ignitors are available in the following
models:
- 2.9" (O.D.) – 0.25 to 4 MBtu/hr
- 4.0" – 3 to 17 MBtu/hr
- 5.6" – 4 to 20 MBtu/hr
The 4.0" gas ignitor is specifically designed
to fit into the Babcock & WilcoxTM (B&W) DRB-4Z burner
and is suitable for other applications where high heat input is
required and space is restricted.
FPS Gas Ignitors feature three-stage ignition to
create a continuous, lively, self-renewing flame unaffected by
furnace conditions. Stainless steel gas nozzles are designed to
withstand the boiler environment.

Each gas ignitor is supplied with the
following components:
• 10,000VAC ignition transformer in
a NEMA 4 enclosure.
• SunSpot flame detector with electronic
module.
• Gas hose with quick disconnect coupler
valve (2.9" only) or swivel connector.
• Two (2) brass braided flex conduit
assemblies for ignitor electrical connections.
