Job Description

The R&D / Product Development Engineer will be responsible for developing and programming of prototypes, completing new product testing, working with regulatory and compliance bodies, and developing manufacturing procedures.

The R&D / Product Development Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing code for new products using embedded processors and in windows for accompanying software applications. The engineer must support the existing product lines and work with manufacturing and engineering as required.

The successful candidate should have a post-secondary education degree in Engineering. Candidates with a Computer Science degree, or equivalent qualifications through relevant work experience in programming, electronics design and embedded systems will be considered.   • Electrical/Computer/Software Engineering Degree OR Computer Science Degree
  • Experience in C and C# programming languages
  • Experience in electronics and electronic circuit design



Salary will be based on experience. FPS salaries are in line with Engineers Nova Scotia annual salary survey where applicable. Annual performance based bonus paid to all employees.
